Custom Pleated Lampshade

I loved the shape of the lampshades flanking our dining area wall mirror, but with the newly painted warm off-white walls, I felt their original fabric was too similar in colour to the wall paint. They disappeared into the background, which in some cases could be ideal, but in our home, I thought something a bit more characterful would be suiting. So, I got inspired by pleated lampshades that I’d spotted out and about in London, rummaged around my fabric collection to find a block-printed piece, and got to work! I’m very pleased with the result, and am now looking for more lampshades to re-cover!
