North West London Loft Loo

I am so excited to share the small loo in the North West London Project loft conversion! It has become such a charming space, packed with cosy details!

On the walls, we played with different tiling patterns, sticking with the same handcrafted Italian tile range, and mixing up the colours. How lovely is the Oatmeal tile in the basket-weave pattern? For the mirrored wall, we used the Khaki tile in a modern alternating tile pattern. The floor is equally textural and warm, in large square terazzo tiles.

Behind the toilet, we opted for painted, panelled wood, which absolutely amps up the warmth in the room. In a room such as this, incorporating wood makes so much sense! We even topped it with this chocolately-brown natural stone we repurposed from a previous bathroom, elsewhere in the house.

The skylight in this loo was not originally planned, but I think makes a massive impact on the feel of the room! It still would’ve been cosy otherwise, but now it’s cosy and airy at the same time. Absolute win!
