Natural Creatives Materials

 

Materials are so important in creating a cohesive, beautifully designed space! The way that they are combined can really set the tone for the whole space. It also is a great way to make sure that all of your furniture, finishings and bits all fit together well.

For this Natural Creatives Project, I chose natural woods, light oak and deep walnut, to set the warm and cosy tone. White-painted wood will keep the space fresh.

Brass will patina over time and created a lovely lived-in feel, which I’ve also balanced with modern black metal.

Natural fabrics such a linen, jute, and sheepskin were of course favoured, for these clients who are deeply connected to nature.

Then, a lovely veined marble or quartz for a statement of natural beauty as the kitchen backsplash.
