Home Staging Östermalm

Planning on selling your home? Home staging is a way to make the space feel coherent and welcoming. Often, there are a lot fewer items on display than in an actual functioning home (unless of course you are already a strict minimalist!)

In this Östermalm, Stockholm home staging, I used both the client’s furniture and some details, as well as bringing in textiles and other decorative bits from my own collection. As the space was quite stark with strong lines from the huge sectional, and its dark grey colour against white walls and floors, it was important to warm up the space. To do this, I decided to focus on adding a few warm tones through mustard and burnt orange cushions, and coloured glass vases. I also brought in natural texture, using the wooden cutting board, woven baskets, fresh veg, and plants.
