Fresh Summer Details
It’s summer. It’s hot outside. Let’s freshen up our interiors! Here are a few easy ideas to try at home. Firstly, consider using natural materials.
1. Linens
Bring in natural linen anywhere possible! Bedsheets and table cloths are always a win, and curtains are the next level up.
2. Woven Lampshades
Continuing with the natural textures, why not swap out one or more of your lampshades for woven ones? They’re so charming, and can add a relaxed feel to your home. Just what we want for summer!
3. Baskets, baskets, baskets
Of course, baskets as storage is always lovely, and in summer is extra pertinent. Perhaps you’ll want to store outdoor textiles, or easily pick up your kit and head to the beach.
4. Rattan furniture
Also, try rattan furniture. It’s so popular right now, but this natural material is lightweight and is a really lovely option for the ages. It feels especially fresh in the summer, so try outdoor furniture, or pieces you can easily swap out later in the year if you feel like it! Consider a side table or stool, for example.
