Working with the latest Sienna Dreamer style (think warm tones + natural materials), I styled this room as a home office. Beginning work with the floor and lighting plans, I then considered textures and colours.

I made sure to include lots of storage for books documents, a large table for researching and laptops, as well as two extra table chairs for meetings. I created a cosy corner for coffee breaks or reading with an armchair, textiles, and a sconce light.

Lighting is hugely important in creating the mood of a room, as well as making sure it’s functional for how you live. Task lighting, above the desk and arm chair. Decorative lighting on the walls and in the bookshelf. A dramatic ceiling lamp for general lighting as well as a bit of impact.
