Inviting in Autumn

September, the start of autumn. A time when we enjoy cool outdoor walks, the turning colour of leaves, baking pies, cosying indoors. Here are some of my September inspirations, as well as ideas on how to bring in and nurture these autumnal feelings at home.

Cosy indoors, bitingly fresh air outdoors, time for walks, snuggling and baking. Prepare for hibernation mode with soft and warm textures like pampas grass, velvet and sheepskin. Take inspiration from the colour of the changing leaves with burnt oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows, as well from grasses with beiges and grey-greens. Bring out your rustic crockery, and glimmering candles.
