Choosing Tiles for the Austin House Bathrooms

The Austin House new-build project bathrooms are going to be so beautiful, modern and calming! We’ve chosen to focus on subtle, calming tones to create a relaxing atmosphere for unwinding.

The tiles are mostly shades of warm grey, with a big focus on texture. We as humans understand textures best in contrast, so seeing different types of texture next to each other gives us the opportunity to discover more layers and depth within a space. Also, collecting various textures together, even if just visual texture, feels more like what we experience in nature, and therefore creates a calming effect.
