Apple Cinnamon Cardamom Cake
For a family birthday, I decided to bake something different and autumnal, so I went for this Apple Cinnamon Cardamom cake. It was seriously so moist and comforting, and not overly sweet. I will certainly bake it again!
I followed this recipe by Rennee’s Kitchen Adventures that I found via Pinterest, with a few adjustments. I and added about 10g of cardamom to it, for a Swedish taste. I substituted buttermilk for Oatly iMat Creamy Oat vegan “cream”, and rapeseed oil for canola oil. I used an electric whisk for the wet ingredients. I also layered a few apple slices on the top of the cake for presentation purposes!
